Custom surfboards personally shaped by Adrian Phillips
Adrian has many years experience with an impressive record of over 9000 boards shaped in the UK, Australia and Hawaii. A recent Adrenalin Magazine feature article described Adrian as "Specialist in every sort of custom board you can throw at him". He's the type of shaper that is still enthusiastic and knows the importance of talking and listening to customers. Every board is hand shaped by Adrian and glassed from start to finish in our own factory using only the best materials.
All of our boards are made to one standard, the best they can possibly be. Our materials are sourced from all over the world and are the professionals choice:- TDI polyurethane foam, Aerialite 'S' glass [the strongest surfboard glass in the world] and Norsodyne polyester resins [UV cured so your board is ready to ride as soon as it's finished] combined with Futures, FCS or Rainbow fins.
Using the best materials makes a very noticeable difference to appearance, strength and most importantly performance, irrespective of rider ability, the boards just go better in every way. Surfing is an amazing thing to do and there's no need for anyone to compromise.
The following descriptions provide a basic guide to our most commonly requested shapes although with custom boards anything is possible and all designs are in a constant state of evolution and refinement. (Photos not to scale)
All prices quoted below are for clear white boards and include fins. Fins play a huge part in the performance of a surfboard. We don't just throw them in at the end and hope for the best. Each board is supplied with the fins with which that specific design has been ridden, evaluated and fine tuned. Our single fins and 1+2 centre fins are hand made by The Rainbow Fin Company in California. They're not the cheapest but can't be beaten on quality and performance.
